Valentine's Day Place Cards

We held a dinner party close to Valentine's Day, and I was trying to come up with a way to celebrate it in an entertaining style. What I came up with were place cards made with those fun wax red lips we played with as kids. Here's how I did it.

What you'll need:
-Red wax lips (enough for everyone at your dinner party). I found mine at http://www.orientaltrading.com/
-Paper Clips
-Color Printer
-Paper

First, create your place card. (I used printmaker plus to create my place cards.) After printing them out, cut them up and set them aside.

Next, take your paper clips and bend them so that they have a straight edge and a looped edge. After bending, take the straight edge of the paper clip and insert it into the wax lips near the back, being careful not to damage the lips. Take your place card and place it into the looped edge of the paper clip.

I used white dinnerware to really show off the red lips.

They were a big hit and provided hours of fun!
