Rehoboth Beach, Designer Show House

Heading to Rehoboth this weekend? If the beach is a little chilly, head over to the VIA Designer Show House at #10 Fourth Street!

A major fund raiser for the Village Improvement Association (VIA) to help the expansion and revision of its historic clubhouse, the show house...a 1920's vintage beach house...has been transformed into a modern family home through the expertise of local and regional interior and landscape designers from Rehoboth, Baltimore, Washington DC, and New York.

The John Raines Bedroom
in the VIA Show House
One of the standout rooms in the design house is the elegant and masculine bedroom designed by John Raines, Interior Designer and owner of Boxwood Home. Featuring slate gray grasscloth walls, modern greek key pillows and graphite and cream custom linens from Legacy Linens the overall effect is luxurious and relaxing. Adding to the richness of the room are the textural accents including vintage antlers, a silver metallic cowhide rug, animal leg stools from Noir and the handpainted coral series by artist, Simon Scott.
Textural accents include
Noir stools and artwork by Simon Scott.

If you're in town, check out the Designer show house and make sure to stop by Boxwood Home to say hello to one of the designers. As a bonus, mention "The Domestic Dandy" while you are in the store and receive 20% off your purchase! For those online shoppers, Boxwood Home is offering 20% off online purchases using the code SHOWHOUSE.
