A Dandy Dessert

I don't subscribe to Good Housekeeping, however, the other day it arrived in the mail. I don't know how it got there, but I'm glad it did! Right there on the cover was an enticing summer headline. No, it wasn't about Tom and Katie...instead it was a wonderful recipe for peach crostata! I've never made crostata before, but am now a huge fan of this easy to prepare and delicious dessert.

To begin, peal and thinly slice your peaches (about 3 peaches) and toss with cornstarch, ground ginger and salt (recipe below).

Once you roll out your pie crust, simply arrange your peach mixture in the center...

...and fold in your edges.

Pop it in the oven and 25- 30 minutes later, you have a beautiful dessert to surprise your loved ones!
