Spring Trends for Men

Last week we attended a fun evening of cocktails and clothes at Neiman Marcus' Spring Trends for Men fashion show. As we were feted with champagne and hors d'oervres, our host Matthew Singer, Neiman's Men's Fashion Director, emphasized what's trending for Spring.

As the perfectly styled clothes came down the runway it became clear that there are some must haves for spring.

Among them are fresh bright colors, bold and interesting patterns...

...and of course the ubiquitous pocket square.
Now the pocket square has been gaining in popularity for some time now and it seems that there is no end to this fun way to spice up your wardrobe. However, coordinating your square to the rest of your outfit can be a daunting task.

One way to wear a square, Mr. Singer suggests, is to pinpoint a color in one's shirt and pair it with a color coordinating pocket square that has a distinctive pattern or interesting color combination. The dichotomy of the pattern works wonderfully well with the coordinating color in obtaining that fresh and interesting look that will turn heads and put a spring in your step.

Unsure of where to find your next pocket square? Check out thetiebar.com. Their wide selection of unique pocket squares in a myriad of colors and patterns will have you looking dandy in no time!

A few of my favorites include...

Groovy-Lime/Mango PSq

Fab Flowers PSq

Big Printed Dots-Kelly Green/Pink PSq

Gentlemen's Paisley - Kelly/Violet PSq
